A taxi ride typically takes around 2 minutes and costs a flat rate of $9.50 per passenger ($8.00 for Elders).



Be aware that Iqaluit taxis operate as ride shares, and drop-offs are prioritized by shortest distance.

Car rental services are available but somewhat limited due to the region's remote location and smaller market. Travelers should plan ahead to ensure vehicle availability and to secure the best rates.

Iqaluit Airport provides an outdoor parking area situated directly in front of the terminal building. 

This lot operates 24 hours a day and includes approximately 100 parking spaces mainly for short-term parking. 

Overnight parking is not available. 

The parking facilities are equipped to accommodate travelers with disabilities, ensuring accessible spaces are available close to the terminal entrance.
